Training Solutions was formed in 1999 and introduced an accredited training arm, Integrity Business College Australasia Pty Ltd in 2005. Based in Melbourne with
national capability our team consists of:
Peter Venables (Director)
Peter has a wealth of experience in business management, training
& consultancy having owned a number of successful businesses in
areas such as Hospitality, Retail and Events Management.
Peter holds a Masters of Education, Graduate Diploma in Education
& Training, Diploma in
Hospitality & Catering, Diploma in Management, Certificate IV in
Training & Assessment along with a wide variety of short course qualifications
including Mt Eliza Business School. Peter is also an accredited practitioner of the DiSC Behavioural system.
Peter is also a member of the Australian Institute of Training &
Development.
Joanne Venables (Director & Administration
Manager)
Joanne works to ensure our clients receive quality service and all
components of the business consistently meet the highest standards.
Prior to joining Peter to help develop their businesses, Joanne
had a successful career in International Airfreight Import & Export.
Joanne holds a Certificate in Advanced Supervision and various certifications
in office management & administration applications.
Steve Parkhill (Business Consultant)
Steve
is a senior business manager having owned and operated supermarket
businesses since 1974. Steve’s experience has included operations
with Tuckerbag Supermarkets, Goodings Supermarkets and Foodworks
Supermarkets while managing turnover of $50m and over 340 staff. In
2000 Steve commenced ‘Parkhill Cellars’ Fine Wine Stores, which now
operate two locations in Melbourne.
Steve has also held a number of senior management
roles within the Supermarket industry including; General Manager
Payless Supermarkets; Director & Chairman of Tuckerbag Supermarkets;
Director Master Grocer’s Association of Victoria & Director
Foodworks Supermarkets.
Steve has certification in a number
of retail qualifications including Retail Strategy (University of
Southern California), Professional Store Supervision (National
Association Wholesale Grocers of America), Store Management,
Advanced Leadership, and both Advanced Coaching & Strategic
Knowledge and Information Management from Monash Mt Eliza Business
College.

Steve Mandile (Retail Training Operations Manager)
Steve has had extensive
managerial experience in the retail industry including the Group
Manager of 16 Woolworth/Safeway produce departments, responsible for
achieving budgeted sales, gross profit, standards, staff development
and ongoing supervision.
Steve has also had the
valuable experience of having been a successful store manger of a
large independent Supermarket with the Foodworks group.
Having also owned and
operated with his wife several successful Gourmet Coffee Lounges.
Steve has illustrated throughout his career his passion for
practical hands on learning, complemented by innovative thinking and
the motivation to exceed your customers' expectations.
Steve has a Certificate
IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and qualifications in
Workplace First Aid, Food Hygiene, Fire Safety, Interviewing
Selection and Counselling Performance Appraisal.
• Anna Meleca (Marketing & Development Manager)
Anna's role is twofold. Firstly, Anna is
responsible for ensuring accreditation administrative & information systems are
maintained. This is vital to the health of the business; it ensures
clients receive responsive & effective service.
Anna has experience in a variety of
administrative systems. She has a sound knowledge of Microsoft
products and training databases and uses these skills to assist
both clients and the business. In addition to this role, Anna also uses her information technology
skills to help build the knowledge of others. Anna has up-to-date
knowledge of online training technology and has developed a variety
of IT training programs through this mode of delivery.
Anna has a
Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace training, plus a
Certificate III in Business and also a Certificate III in Information Technology (Networking).
• Teresa Granato (Business & Retail Training Consultant)
Teresa's experience has been gained as a Store Manager, Area Manager, State Manager & National Training Manager. As a qualified trainer, Teresa works with many different retail environments and products, including art and craft, automobile, clothing and accessories (including designer labels), homewares and pet stores.
Teresa currently delivers training workshops on store presentation, merchandising, leadership and customer service. Teresa also delivers accredited training in Retail Operations.
Teresa's ability to relate to different levels of experience from the casual staff member to senior management ensures that she is in constant demand as a trainer/coach and mentor to retail businesses.
• Anna Lee (Retail Merchandising and Sales
Consultant)
Anna brings to our company an enthusiastic and
passionate approach to Retail Visual Merchandising and Retail
Selling. Anna supports her enthusiasm and passion with the
experience of having managed several large Retail Chains Stores
including stores within the Red Earth-Esprit group and Adairs
Homemaker Centre. Anna's experience also includes the training of
staff in the value and principles of Visual Merchandising, presentation
of window displays and floor plans.
Anna is also an experienced Interior Decorator
for Commercial and Domestic applications and brings a fresh creative
approach to Visual Merchandising, challenging training participants
to “think outside of the square”, complemented with traditional well
proven display principles.
Anna is a qualified Workplace Trainer
successfully completing a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and
Training.
• Julia O'Connor (Administrative Assistant)
Julia's role is to ensure the business' administrative systems are maintained effectively and efficiently. This role is of vital importance to the business as it ensures clients receive responsive and quality service.
Julia has experience in a variety of administrative systems. Julia also has strong communication skills which she regularly uses as first point of contact for the business. You may speak to Julia as she contacts your business to identify needs, answer questions or gauge feedback.
Julia is currently completing a Certificate II in Information Technology.
Specialist Consultants
Additional consultants are drawn from the corporate & small business
sectors and are engaged for their expertise and capability to deliver
dynamic results.
